What I found recently since using Linux, able to use a software that allows you to anime your screen into a gif format. These software has made things easier when you are helping someone with work or programs on how things work and doing a small gif does that, it visualize the environment and hows it to your friends or family.
Peek is an anime gif software that only works with Linux distributions and it works very well. If you want to install, follow these commands
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:peek-developers/stable sudo apt update sudo apt install peek
LiceCap is another one, but this one is meant for Windows and MacOS. It is definitely a lifesaver. LiceCap can capture an area of your desktop and save it directly to a .gif format for viewing in web browsers.
