This past week or so, I have been focusing on updating a theme in the WordPress repository which I have been neglecting because of the new features that comes with WordPress 5.0. This feature is Gutenberg also known as Block Editor. One of the scariest and fun experiences throughout the process of creating a theme.
I have finally added support for the block styles, editor-styles for the backend of the editor so it looks exactly the same as if you were to read the front-end experience, which is nice because now you can experience the same thing and see what you have been doing before you publish a post or page.
Having to deal with block editor an replacement of the classic editor has been very challenging because it is still a growing factor of WordPress and new features comes and go.
